Testimonial - We had a very bad leak last year through the middle of our basement. We called in two companies for estimates. Both said we would have to dig up the side and back of our house which meant cutting open our new asphalt driveway and dismantling our one year old deck. One company quoted 19,500 dollars and the other company quoted 26,900 dollars. A friend suggested we call in Mike from Dryguys Waterproofing. Mike showed up promptly and instead of an estimate, he spent considerable time snaking, scoping and doing something called a colour dye test. Mike concluded that our problem was not outside, but that the intake line from our weeping tile to our sump pump line had collapsed. We agreed on a price for Mike to do the work needed. He and his crew showed up in a couple of days with drop cloths and exhaust fans for the dust. After much loud smashing, banging and jackhammering, Mike called us down to see the lake of stagnant water under our basement floor. What a terrible, terrible smell. Mike and his crew completed the repairs in two days at the agreed upon reasonable price. We saved over 20,000 dollars on work that would not have fixed our problem anyways. Mike suggested we do something called rainscaping on the other two walls of our house to address downspout and flooding issues and to prevent future leaking. The price was fair and it looks quite nice. We strongly recommend anyone to call Mike and his crew at Dryguys before making a major waterproofing repair. We are very, very satisfied. Rob and Lynn.
